The Committee was led by the Chairman, Hon. Prof. Julius O. Ihonvbere OON, member representing Owan Federal Constituency.

The Committee on Basic Education and Services in the House of Representatives led by the chairman, Hon. Prof. Julius O. Ihonvbere OON, meet with Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun at the Government House Abeokuta. The visit is part of the committee’s oversight function in accessing and inspecting the various basic educational facilities in the State.Prof. Ihonvbere who led the delegation applauded the Governor for his enormous Investment and achievements in the state’s educational Sector. Noting his sincerity of purpose, transparency and transformation in the areas of infrastructure and creation of adequate learning environment in various schools across the state.

Hon. Prof. Julius Ihonvbere OON, leads a delegation of members on oversight function to Ekiti State. The process is basically to inspect projects awarded by the federal government towards improving the structures and standard of basic education across the country.
